Santa Claus is Coming to Town

This is the time of year where we yearn to stay close to home and snuggle in with those that we love. Relationships and who we value are very important. What are our priorities? They are not those that we get bombarded with on TV or in the media..those are someone else's priorities. Ours are quite simple when you really get down to it. I will try not to come up with a list of New Year's resolutions, I am doing what's important to me no need to change and do something new.

August 18, is fast approaching once again..."The day" as I call it is yet another reminder that I am getting closer to that fated landmark of 60. I felt a milestone was taking place when I turned 50 and so to honor it...I did a tandem sky jump!

It was worth every minute!

Now I am looking at retiring from my job and moving on to something else. I am fortunate in that my career has given me wonderful opportunities for professional growth and very much needed skill sets. Skill sets that are still much in demand. So I should be able to find something to do to assist others..which is what I do. I don't manage, I am a change agent. I help people move to doing something new. This is true for business and for spiritual growth. More to follow as I get closer...

Other Thoughts:We grew up in a different time...I am so glad that I was a part of the 60's,70's,80's & 90's. I think that kids growing up now see strife in the world,live with fear of kidnapping,see a world that lacks humanity, a world where international strife is always present. I hope that I am wrong. I hope that they feel secure and free to just be a kid. Many things can of course affect this. I hope that all the technological advances we have enhance their life.
